Diamond for OS X Leopard by Geoffrey Alexander

You’re a designer and a Mac user but your boss is a PC guy. While working on a project he sends you a Microsoft Word XML doc. You don’t have the newest version of Microsoft Office nor do you relish the idea of spending your hard earned cash on it. What are you to do? Diamond!

Diamond is a free program created by Geoffrey Alexander. Diamond allows you to open any RTF, .Doc, Word 2003 XML or text document. Diamond is uniquely Mac with transparency, drop shadows and the ability to use your own pictures as a background for your page. What I like is the unique scrolling of pages. Rather than up and down Diamond scrolls left to right.
